These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the COPEF website (copef.at) and, where applicable, participation in COPEF events and services. They do not constitute or replace the COPEF Statutes, Beitragsordnung, or Membership Agreement, which govern the membership relationship separately.
 

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using copef.at, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not accept them, please do not use this website.
 

2. About COPEF

COPEF – Council of Political & Economical Future – Association is an Austrian association (Verein) registered under the Austrian Associations Act 2002 (Vereinsgesetz 2002), based in Vienna, Austria.
 

3. Use of the Website

You may use copef.at for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the website in any way that violates applicable Austrian or EU law

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the member area or any restricted section

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any form

• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or harmful code

• Scrape, copy, or reproduce website content without our written permission
   

4. Membership Applications

Submitting a membership application through the website does not constitute acceptance of membership. COPEF reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason. No legal right to membership exists.

Applications submitted through the website are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the COPEF Statutes.
 

5. Member Area

Access to the COPEF member area is granted exclusively to individuals who have been accepted as members and assigned the "COPEF Member" role by an administrator. Unauthorized attempts to access restricted content are prohibited.

Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and must not share access with third parties.
 

6. Payments

Where payments are made through the website (e.g. for events), the following applies:

• All prices are stated in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

• Payments are processed securely through Wix Payments. COPEF does not store payment card details.

• Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, JCB, Diners Club, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay.

• Refund policies for events will be stated at the point of purchase. Membership fees are governed by the COPEF Beitragsordnung.
   

7. Intellectual Property

All content on copef.at — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and documents — is the property of COPEF or its respective rights holders and is protected by Austrian and EU copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without prior written permission from COPEF, except for personal, non-commercial reference.
 

8. Uploaded Content

When you upload files (portfolio, cover letter) through our application form, you confirm that:

• You are the author or have the right to share the content

• The content does not infringe the rights of any third party

• The content does not contain unlawful material

COPEF will use uploaded files solely for the purpose of evaluating your application and will not share them with third parties.
 

9. Limitation of Liability

COPEF makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and availability of information on copef.at. However, we do not guarantee that the website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that content is always current.

To the fullest extent permitted by Austrian law, COPEF is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or its content.
