Transparency Statement

Political Neutrality

COPEF is strictly non-partisan and politically neutral. We do not support, endorse, finance or affiliate with any political party, political movement or ideological agenda - and we do not accept financial support or sponsorship from any such entity.

When politicians or politically exposed persons appear in our interviews, contribute to our courses, or are otherwise associated with COPEF, this association is with them as individuals - not with their party, their political affiliation, or the positions they represent in their public role. COPEF does not endorse the political views, party membership or public positions of any guest, speaker or contributor.

Our goal is to expose our members to a wide range of perspectives from across the political and ideological spectrum. Engagement with a person does not constitute endorsement of their views.

Editorial Neutrality

COPEF takes no institutional position on the views, opinions, analyses or statements expressed by guests in interviews, contributors to our courses, speakers at our events, or any other person associated with our platform.

All content produced within the COPEF ecosystem - including COPEF Conversations interviews, COPEF Courses, COPEF Brief articles and event discussions - reflects the views of the individual speaker or contributor alone. COPEF provides a platform for dialogue and education; it does not curate content to reflect a particular worldview, and it does not endorse, validate or reject the substance of what our guests and contributors say.

We believe that exposure to diverse, sometimes contradictory perspectives is essential to the development of independent judgment, which is at the heart of what COPEF stands for.

Guest Contributions & Publications

Articles, essays, opinion pieces and other written contributions published under the COPEF umbrella - including guest features in the COPEF Brief - represent solely the views of their respective authors. They do not reflect the position, opinion or endorsement of COPEF as an organisation, its board, or its membership.

No Influence by Partners or Sponsors

COPEF's editorial decisions, interview subjects, course content, event programming and membership criteria are made entirely independently. No sponsor, partner or external organisation holds any influence - formal or informal - over our content or our decisions. Sponsorship of COPEF is strictly limited to brand visibility and access as defined in our partnership agreements; it does not extend to editorial, programmatic or strategic matters.

Membership & Admissions

COPEF selects its members based on ambition, character and alignment with our values as set out in our Code of Honor. Admissions decisions are made without regard to nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, political conviction or socioeconomic background. We are committed to building a community defined by merit and shared values - nothing else.

Financing

COPEF is currently financed exclusively through membership fees and private contributions. We do not receive funding from political parties, government bodies, ideologically affiliated foundations or any other institutional source. Should this change in the future, we will update this statement accordingly and maintain full transparency about the sources of our funding.

This statement reflects COPEF's commitment to transparency, integrity and independence. It is reviewed and updated by the board as needed.
